Rule 20 Rookie Escalator Clause

20.1) Any rookie player that has performed at a top 8 level for 3 consecutive years will holdout. His salary will then go up to the average of the top 8. You do not have to pay him but he will be put on the injured reserve until you do. You can choose to hope the rookie caves. Starting the week before the season you will have to option to roll a one hundred sided die. If you roll 1-10 he will play. Week 2 you have a 1-20 chance to get him and so on to Week 10. After week 10 he will play and you will roll the die to determine what pay raise he settles for. The options will be 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, and 10% pay raise. He will play out the remaining years at this price.
